Prof Richard Hague, Professor of Additive Manufacturing, Director, Centre for Additive Manufacturing, University of Nottingham / Added Scientific Ltd
Richard Hague is Professor of Additive Manufacturing and Director of the Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM) at the University of Nottingham. Having worked in the AM field for over 27 years, he is internationally recognized both for scientific endeavour and creating impact though industrial exploitation where he has a background of leading and managing large multi-disciplinary, multi- partner research projects from both EPSRC and industry. Richard’s research interests are focused on AM specific processes, materials and computational methods across for wide spectrum of industrial sectors with current research programmes focused on next generation multifunctional additive manufacturing. Richard has received multiple international awards and honours and is a co-founder and Director of Added Scientific Ltd, a spin out from the University of Nottingham focused on implementing Additive Manufacturing technical solutions to industry.
Phill is responsible for the commercial development and roll out of the Magway system, including funding, promotion and engagement across various interest groups and partnerships.
Prior to Magway Phill spent his career in the retail and technology sectors focusing on business development and reverse logistics. He has worked with numerous leading retailers to improve efficiency and value on their returns and clearance goods and processes.
Phill spent a number of years with Deloitte Consulting and Lehman Equity Research providing thought leadership and some of the first written research reports on Software as a Service business models. He is also active in the start-up space assisting various companies with their commercial roll-outs/scale-ups.
Mark Pinches, Head of coaching, Westfield Health

Before serving in the UK Government Stephen spent 35 years in senior roles in the manufacturing industry including 15 years with Smiths Group plc as President of Smiths Detection. Stephen has worked extensively abroad in high technology manufacturing businesses.

James Widmer, CEO, Advanced Electric Machines
James Widmer is CEO of Advanced Electric Machines Group Ltd which is developing and manufacturing its range of uniquely sustainable electric traction motors for customers around the globe. Kevin Brundish, CEO, AMTE Power
Kevin, together with various colleagues, founded AMTE Power in 2013. He has over 25 years’ experience within public and private companies and has experience of fund raising and mergers and acquisitions. Kevin qualified as a Chartered Engineer and has worked for and with world leading engineering groups such as QinetiQ, Rolls Royce plc and Siemens AG, and has taken a number of technologies and businesses through concept, design and into production. He is a member of the Faraday Challenge advisory board and has been part of the industry group advising the top tier of UK Government on energy storage.

Ryan Diver, Head of the Integrated Manufacturing Group and Factory 2050, Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre - The University of Sheffield
Ryan is the Head of Factory 2050 at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre in Sheffield. He is responsible for 80 multi-disciplinary engineers and scientists working in the fields of robotics, automation and digital manufacturing. Ryan has worked at the AMRC for 10 years, in both technical and leadership roles, delivering several large Innovate UK programs with Industry.

Vishal is part of the commercial business development team at UKBIC. His background is in diverse technology fields and Vishal is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics. Previously, he worked as Business Development Director at Buddi Ltd (a rapidly growing, high technology, Queens Award winning company). He built Buddi’s successful business in Europe and Latin America. Prior to Buddi, he worked at QinetiQ Ltd, starting as a research fellow in semiconductors and ending as senior commercial manager delivering a wide range of new technologies to market in the fields of defence, electronics, energy and security.
Christelle Barnes, UK Country Manager, SolarEdge Technologies
As UK Country Manager for SolarEdge Technologies, Christelle Barnes is responsible for spearheading the company’s ambitious growth strategy for its solar and critical power divisions in the UK and Ireland. Since taking on the role in 2016, she has overseen a more than 50% growth in SolarEdge’s UK solar business and has been responsible for increasing commercial sales by 400%. Prior to joining SolarEdge, Christelle held senior sales and business development roles with several European solar companies involved in the delivery of on- and off-grid PV systems for residential, agricultural and commercial customers. She is an active board member and vice-chair of the industry trade body, Solar Energy UK, and is committed to driving quality and best practice within the solar industry. Christelle holds a BSc in Renewable Energy from Otago University in New Zealand.
Theo Saville, CEO, CloudNC
Theo is a Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineer (M.Eng, University of Warwick), with a background in weapons development, advanced laser-based metals 3D printing research at Warwick Manufacturing Group, and sales. Theo entered metals 3D printing expecting to be able to harness a technology ready to disrupt manufacturing, but gradually became disillusioned with the state and future applicability of the technology.
He was exposed to CNC machining around the same time and realised the disruptive potential if it could be automated to the same degree as plastics 3D printing. Theo was recognised in the 2019 Forbes 30 under 30 in Manufacturing & Industry.

Nasar leads the Digital Manufacturing team at WMG’s SME Group, and its initiatives focused on helping small businesses improve their bottom-line through adoption of affordable digital tools and technologies. Nasar has been instrumental in developing Catapult’s Innovation ecosystem managing delivery of Digitalisation pilots through Innovation grants, Collaborative R&D and Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects. Currently he is co-leading ‘Made Smarter West Midlands’ initiative to kick start the Digitalisation journey for SMEs enabling higher productivity and a positive economic impact.
Nasar has previous consulting experience within Digital Manufacturing focussed on improving profitability for FMCGs. He has over 13 years of Engineering Management experience within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering achieving operational excellence through novel manufacturing technologies and digital solutions managing over £40M worth of CAPEX projects across Automotive, Aerospace and Nuclear sectors. Nasar was also a key member for two £100M plus new factory projects for Rolls-Royce Nuclear Submarines and Civil Aerospace, respectively. He initiated a £20M transformation project for consolidation and redesign of Engine final assembly line to handle future powertrain complexity at Jaguar Land Rover. He has also gained supply chain experience managing Inbound operations at a busy Amazon Fulfilment centre.
Nasar has an academic background in Mechanical Engineering backed by further qualifications in Lean Six Sigma and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
